Self described as 'dark and enigmatic' this luxurious candle has filled the room with a rich fruit yet peppery scent.

This deluxe candle had my eye for a while as a new Jo Malone store opened in my local shopping centre. The scent lingered in my mind above any others as it is richly sweet yet musky, something which I feel compliments a bedroom setting and is neither overtly feminine nor masculine. The packaging is incredibly elegant, as upon receiving you are presented with a lavish box decked with ribbons, cards, and black matches. The candle it self is beautifully minimal, a simple white wax in a weighty glass jar, with a mirrored lid, and sleek black label.

This product has a immense longevity, without burning it still gives excellent scent pay off, which may excuse the slightly excessive price label.

Jo Malones describes pomegrante noir as 'the sensuality of a daring red dress. Ruby-rich juices of pomegranate, raspberry and plum are spiked with pink pepper and laced with Casablanca lily and spicy woods.'

My thoughts:

Price - I would recommend buying this for yourself and/or as a gift if it is within your budget.

Design - Very simplistic, yet elegant, will suit any room.

Scent - Incredibly strong scent even without burning, which is a plus in my opinion.

Longeivity - 45 hours burning time - to be found out!
